The 5th Arunachal Literature Festival was held from 16 to 18th November at DK Convention Centre, Itanagar. The festival brought together authors, poets, and literary enthusiasts from across the country to celebrate the power of literature and promote cultural exchange.
One of the highlights of the festival was the presence of IPR & Printing Minister Bamang Felix, who expressed the state government’s strong commitment to supporting literary progress.
He urged the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society to develop a practical mechanism to maintain the literary mission in the state.
Felix also extended an invitation to young individuals, encouraging them to participate in and observe the literary discussions during the festival in order to improve their writing skills.
Praising the contribution of Padma Shri and Sahitya Academy awardee YD Thongchi, Padma Shri awardee Mamang Dai, and the late Lummer Dai in his speech, he emphasized the power of literature in shaping society and the importance of nurturing and supporting young talent
By organizing such events, the government is not only encouraging creative expression but also promoting the rich cultural heritage of the state. The 5th Arunachal Literature Festival was a resounding success and a testament to the thriving literary scene in the region.
